READ & WRITE "TASK 9. Topic about two opposite examples of ergonomics/usability/HC

Mainor & TalTech Today,I will talk about Moodle platform of Mainor and TalTech, what's their difference, which is more user friendly, easy-to-use, and why. Before I start to discuss them, I would like to mention, that they are completely different in usage. Mainor I had experience of Moodle.eek... usage. At first it seems pretty familiar, like TalTech have, but with different design, and button location. Logic is pretty similar, and the code is written in php. But, when you logged in, you will amazed, what kind of design they had, text is black/white, white background, without any styles "not css background-color/background-image, just context, not in programmer sense :)". The directories, and how to find them in one click, is not a fast action, sometimes, when you want to find your course, you have to wait for "two days" because, yesterday, there wasn't such course, but today is a new day, and somehow, now you are able to see your course.  Periodically

READ & WRITE "TASK6. What impact does the copyleft have on choosing a software license for one's project?

Изображение
STRONG COPYLEFT These licenses demand that all the derived works (the software that is made by altering the original) must retain the license of the original.  From choose license depends whole access to project and to his source code, in strong copyleft there are three categories:  The GNU General Public License GPL version 3 The Affero GPL Each category has their own meaning, and some kind rules to use. The most suitable and by my opinion free to use, change and integrate is GNU General Public License. It contains the following rights:  The freedom to run the program, for any purpose (freedom 0). The freedom to study how the program works, and change it so it does your computing as you wish (freedom 1). Access to the source code is a precondition for this. The freedom to redistribute copies so you can help your neighbor (freedom 2). The freedom to distribute copies of your modified versions to others (freedom 3). By doing this you can give the whole community a chance to benefit f

SHORT DESCRIPTION Today I read a book " The case for copyright reform " where main topics were Copyright policy, and why it should be reformed. I would like to share my opinion about topic 'A Constructive Proposal For Copyright Reform' which starts from 3 page and ends on a 7 th. MAIN CONCEPTS Main concept of their idea, is to make non-commercial product free (without any copyright watermarks), with what im completely agree, that only  products with commercial point should be protected by copyright watermark. Their proposal can be summarized in five points: Moral Rights Unchanged Free Non-Commercial Sharing 20 Years Of Commercial Monopoly Registration After 5 Years Free Sampling MORAL RIGHTS UNCHANGED - Nobody should be allowed to claim that they are ABBA, or have written all of Paul McCartney’s songs, unless they actually are or have. To the extent that this is a real world problem, it should still be illegal to do so. ”Give credit where credit is due” is a good ma
